  • Kindergarten, 

    1st, and 2nd Grade

    Rachel Yastro has been married to her husband Ryan for 8 years. They have two children Kathryn who is in First grade at RISE Academy and Adam who is in PreK at First Baptist. Prior to working at RISE Academy, Rachel taught at Fist Baptist in their PreK program. She taught three year olds for three and a half years. She was also responsible for teaching the Core Values Curriculum to all three year old classes. Rachel is excited about the opportunity the Lord has given her to be teaching Kindergarten through 2nd Grade at RISE Academy. 

  • Grades 3rd - 7th Grade

    HeiDee Bieber is the mother of five and the wife to Jeff for over 30 years.  HeiDee has been teaching for over 25 years in private and public education.  HeiDee enjoys developing curriculum and designing lessons for her students that are engaging   and   challenging.   HeiDee   loves  the

    2-Day tutorial program of Rise Academy, because it combines the best of both worlds:  the classroom accountability for families and the partnering with loving and commited parents! Together this teamwork provides the nurturing and excellence for each Rise Academy student! HeiDee enjoys collecting children's books, anything peanut butter and chocolate, and art journaling.

  • Upper Grades Grammar and Latin

    Mrs. Diana Abraham is a seasoned teacher and former principal in Hawaii.  She has come out of retirement to work at Rise Academy for the past two years.  Mrs. Abraham has taught a wide range of grades.  She began her teaching career working as an elementary school teacher in public education.  After almost 15 years, she began teaching for a private Christian school in their English department, as a middle school and high school English instructor.  Over the years, she has reached the hearts of her students with her kind and nurturing ways.  Mrs. Abraham also served as the principal of a private K-12 school for almost 20 years.  She loves the color purple, making quilts, sewing, and she is an avid reader!
