Rachel Yastro has been married to her husband Ryan for 8 years. They have two children Kathryn who is in First grade at RISE Academy and Adam who is in PreK at First Baptist. Prior to working at RISE Academy, Rachel taught at Fist Baptist in their PreK program. She taught three year olds for three and a half years. She was also responsible for teaching the Core Values Curriculum to all three year old classes. Rachel is excited about the opportunity the Lord has given her to be teaching Kindergarten and First grade at RISE in 2016-2017.
HeiDee Bieber is the mother of five and the wife to Jeff for over 30 years. HeiDee has been teaching for over 25 years in private and public education. HeiDee enjoys developing curriculum and designing lessons for her students that are engaging and challenging. HeiDee loves the 2-Day tutorial program of Rise Academy, because it combines the best of both worlds: the classroom accountability for families and the partnering with loving and commited parents! Together this teamwork provides the nurturing and excellence for each Rise Academy student! HeiDee enjoys collecting children's books, anything peanut butter and chocolate, and art journaling.
Shannon Ott is married to her best bud John Ott and they adore their four beautiful children: Joshua, David, Gracie, and Jacob. Their children have been attending Rise Academy for 2 years and Shannon is thrilled about joining the Rise Academy staff next year. She has taught in various capacities through the years from teaching piano to working with students with learning disabilities to teaching her own flock. She will be teaching Mathematics to our upper grades and she is looking forward to being a part of Rise Academy, not just as a parent, but now as a teacher.
